As part of Cognitopia, we present the Thought Leader Challenge – an online competition series – providing you a platform where your wit, knowledge, and creativity take centre stage.
The ‘Thought Leader competition Series’ features seven exciting online events, each designed to challenge your mind, spark your imagination, and allow you to showcase your unique talents.
How to participate?
- Cognitopia Thought Leader series consists of 7 online events.
- Participants can choose to compete in all events or participate solely in any event.
- To be crowned as Thought Leader, participants must compete in a minimum of four different competitions within the Cognitopia Thought Leader competition series.
- The participant who outperforms other participants in this series will be crowned the Cognitopia Thought Leader.

Topic : Timeless Crossovers
Imagine Sethurama Iyer (CBI) in Drishyam , Urvashi using a modern dating app or Sherlock Holmes solving mysteries with AI.
Recreate iconic moments from literature, art, or movies by blending characters and settings from different areas in a reel like never before!

The COGNITOPIA GAZETTE: Interdepartmental Digital Newspaper Contest

Let’s then be chroniclers. Be a part of the excitement and creativity at COGNITOPIA 2025 (16-18 January) by participating in the Cognitopia Gazette digital newspaper contest, exclusively for the students of GCW.
Narrate the vibrant story of COGNITOPIA through engaging words and compelling images. Bring innovation and creativity into both content and design, capturing the vibrant atmosphere of the fest while presenting it in a professional and visually appealing manner.
GUIDELINES
Content : The newspaper should cover all three days of COGNITOPIA. You may include photos, comments, interviews, and more. The newspaper should be named The COGNITOPIA Gazette.
Participants : The Inter-Departmental competition is open to all students of GCW. Participation can be individual or in groups of up to five students.
* One group can have only one entry.
Format :
The newspaper should be in A4 size (210 x 297 mm) or Tabloid size (279 x 432 mm) pages.
It should have less than 50 pages and be smaller than 100MB in size.
It should be uploaded as a PDF file.
Language : The newspaper can be either in English or Malayalam.
